Holiday Party at Sequoia Restaurant in Washington Harbour
This week I had the privilege to DJ for the Urban Institute’s Holiday Party at the beautiful Sequoia Restaurant. It is located in the Washington Harbour, near Georgetown, in Washington, DC.
For two consecutive years I had the pleasure to DJ for leaders and scholars of the Urban Institute at this prestigious venue. This place is by far the most beautiful venue I have ever DJ. Their staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. Sequoia restaurant, located on the banks of the Potomac River, offers magnificent views of the Kennedy Center, Roosevelt Bridge, Roosevelt Island, Key Bridge and the Virginia skyline. It’s namesake, the presidential yacht U.S.S. Sequoia, is reflected in the restaurant’s classical nautical design. Stunning fiber optic chandeliers created by British artist Sharon Marston grace the main dining room. Their delicious menu is composed by modern American classics and scrumptious seafood choices.
It is always nice to take photographs of my DJ set up in such a beautiful scenery. It was definitely a great night, a great crowd and a great venue; another great party with DJ Teddy. Happy Holidays!
